The Role Will Include:
- Leading and documenting meetings with entrepreneurs, portfolio company management, and co-investors
- Identify and manage the investment pipeline, as well as evaluate potential investments in early-stage (Pre-Seed, Seed and Series A) companies through financial due diligence, market research, and competitive analyst
- Draft well thought out and compelling investment committee memos
- Conducting market sizing, financial analysis and general quantitative modeling
- Primary coverage will be fintech, software, data, and cloud technologies
- Participate and or lead due diligence for specific investment transactions
- Conduct sector research
What We Look For:
- 3+ years of experience including but not limited to start-up, private equity, investment banking, equity research, venture capital, technology, and business strategy
- Authentic passion for technology and a deep respect for entrepreneurship and investing
- Creative problem-solvers who thrive in unstructured environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as exceptional analytical ability
- Consistent exercise of independent judgement and discretion in matters of significance
