Welcoming our New Venture Partner

I’d like to welcome Andrés Sucre, co-founder and CEO of logistics company Reservamos, as our new Venture Partner based in Mexico City, focused on supply chain and logistics technology.

There is no denying the unprecedented growth in export manufacturing and trade that Mexico and the United States have achieved in recent years. For the first time in history, the competitive cost structures, deep pools of labor, and growing scale and capabilities across diverse industries have made Mexico the largest trading partner of the United States. This has created a vacuum of opportunity for countless startups to provide technology, efficiency, and scale to various sectors including payments, near-shoring, cross-border trade, manufacturing and logistics. The digital transformation of the region has coincided with the global political and economic shifts that favor Mexico and the cross-border economy.

Andrés built Reservamos to become the leading vertical SaaS and customer marketplace platform for the bus transportation industry in Latin America, processing millions of tickets per year. He is currently an independent member of the board for HSBC Mexico and an active advisor to several startups in LatAm. With more than a decade in the region as an operator, Andrés has witnessed and participated in the growth and evolution of the digital economy in Mexico and the rest of LatAm. He believes that the combination of high-quality tech talent, competitive wages, a stable political & FX environment, and strong macro tailwinds will establish global technology leaders operating from Mexico & LatAm.

If you’re building a Pre-Seed, Seed, or Series A stage in cross-border logistics or manufacturing, please get in touch.
